AAHAHAHAHA!  If I thought there were tumble weeds up in here a few months ago, there are about 48502042578 of them now!  Ah, well.  Not that I ever claimed I was very consistent in keeping up with these things, anyhooo!  :P

Things are progressing slowly but surely with my art.  As soon as I have enough original pieces done, I will be setting up my own art website!  I have already reserved my domain name, which, creatively enough, is my own name!  :P  And then I will get business cards, of course.  Also, for a wee bit of excitement, I may be submitting a couple of pieces to the Towles Court art show for next month.  I will have to rely on my Dad to get the art there and back again (if it's not accepted for the show or does not sell), since all drop-off and pick-up days are 11am to 4pm during the week!  Yeah, no artist with a real job any significant distance away could work that out on their own, but since my Dad's offering to be my personal courier, I will give it a go.  Here's hoping for the best!  :P

Oy.  So much for having more time to post here!  Once I got done with the faire, I immersed myself in American Idol, and immediately got totally pissed at all the hateful-ass nerf herders on the AI messageboard.  And at MJ's and Rickey's  If you don't like a contestant, then pick one you DO like, and post nice things about them, instead of wasting your time hating on someone, for fuck's sake!  Ugh.  Remind me again why I bother with that crap show every year?  Oh yeah, cuz I love my fave singers from there!  And Danny Gokey is awesome!  :P

Meanwhile, I've been working on a new drawing or two, and I'm playing around with making steampunk jewelry.  It's fun stuff, I gotta say.  I have an Esty account, so once I have something made that I want to sell, I will put it up there.  :-)

Sooooooo, that's all there is from me for now.  And ya waited almost two months for that, huh?  ;-)  :P

Nooooooooo!  Not you, people!  (If there is an actual human reading this!)  I'm talking to the tumbleweeds.  Even the cobwebs are okay, but these tumbleweeds gotta go!  *kicks one*

Whew.  Anyhooooooo, obviously, I haven't been here in a while.  *looks around*  Damn.  I need to get someone to do the dusting in here, cuz my allergies can't handle that!  ;-)  But I was busy with two jobs.  Alas, now I only have one, as my beloved Faire has completed its seven-week run and has now vanished into glory for another season.  *sigh*  On one hand, I am soooo happy to have my weekends back.  On another, I will soooo miss my beloved Faire, all the people there (who are just as weird, fun and crazy as meeeeeee!), and yeah... I will miss the extra money from my job there, too.  But most of all, I will just miss being there, in the Realm, leaving behind the troubles of the Mundane world.  *siiiiiiiiigh*

But I will have more time to wreak havoc here now, so all is not lost!  And I will have more time to devote to my art, to goof off, and maybe even figure out how the hell to post pics here!  AHAHAHAHA.

Well, I am one exhausted wench tonight!  And I should totally be asleep right now, cuz I have to go to work at the icky, mundane office early in the morning.  But I'm just too keyed up by another glorious day at Ren Faire.  I'll post some pics of my wenchy self later this week.  Oh, and maybe I'll figure out how to post some of my drawings here, too.   Anyhooo, right now I'm trying to keep the tumbleweeds and cobwebs from getting in here, soooo... that's all folks!

Whew!  Sooooo... I'm going to try this LJ thing again.  My first LJ was created a few years ago, and then almost immediately abandoned, to be inhabited only by the occassional tumbleweed!  Tonight I just decided, what the hell, like I don't kill enough time at the computer as it is, so here's one more thing for me to keep up with!  Let's see how this goes, shall we?   Tee hee.

Now if only I can figure out all this customizing crap, then I'll go hunt down some friends to add to my page!  Yay!
